Jason Day has admitted he is revelling in his recent stunning form as he goes for more glory in the season-ending Tour Championship.
If Day comes out on top in the Atlanta finale, the Australian star is set to end the season as the world No.1, while he will also pick up the lucrative FedEx Cup with its $10million grand prize.
If Day does achieve another win it would be his fifth victory in his last seven tournaments – a superb run of form – that has left even him surprised.
The 27-year-old has hogged the limelight in recent months after both Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth battled to be the world’s best earlier in the year and Day admits his brilliant recent performances means his rivals have been left in the shade.
Ahead of the Tour Championship, Day was asked about his stunning form and joked: “It’s like Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlory had a baby – and I was it!”
