Danny Willett believes his game is progressing “nicely” after reaching number 11 in the world rankings.
The Yorkshireman has come on leaps and bounds from a couple of years ago when he struggled to maintain a place in the top 100.
Willett now appears to be mixing it with the best after finishing tied for third in the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami last week after four impressive rounds.
Willett, who is firmly in contention to feature in the Ryder Cup for Europe in September, has admitted he is happy with how his game is coming along.
He was quoted by the Yorkshire Post, saying: “It’s trending in the right direction and everything is going nicely. “I don’t think we can get too disheartened with the results.
“It’s nice to know that you pitch up and there’s the top-50 players in the world here.”
