Lee Westwood is upbeat on his chances of successfully defending the Thailand Golf Championship in Bangkok.
The tournament begins on Thursday and former world number one Westwood is in confident mood.
Westwood has won the Thailand Golf Championship twice, in 2011 and last year, and having picked up his only victory of 2015 in Indonesia the 42-year-old hopes his fine form in Asia can continue in Bangkok.
“It’s lovely to be back and having won again last year makes it all the more special. I’ve always played well in Asia and it’ll be nice to win the Thailand Golf Championship for the third time,” Westwood is quoted as saying by golf365.
“The golf course is in great condition and we got a great field assembled here once again. The forecast is looking good and I can’t wait to get it going tomorrow.”
