American Ryder Cup star Brandt Snedeker won his first European Tour title with a stunning nine-shot victory at the Fiji International.
The world number 23 started the final day at the Natadola Bay Golf Club with a three-shot lead and ultimately won with plenty to spare on Sunday.
A final round of 68 allowed him to finish on 16-under par, while his closest rival Michael Hendry had a day to forget after carding a round of 72.
That meant Snedeker won by nine shots, which beat Charl Schwartzel’s eight-shot win at the Tshwane Open as the biggest victory margin of the European season.
Snedeker ends the season in fine form, just a week after winning all three of his matches at the Ryder Cup. He dropped just three shots over four rounds in the South Pacific to finish way in front.
While Hendry finished on his own in second, Brad Shilton, Andrew Evans, Matthew Giles and Anthony Houston all finished in a tie for third.
