Jamie Donaldson has become the latest player to confirm he will compete at July’s Omega European Masters.
The Welshman has a strong record at the picturesque Crans-sue-Sierre, finishing in the top 10 in each of the last three occasions he has played the event and this year’s trip will mark his 11th appearance in the tournament.
Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and Victor Dubuisson are all amongst those already confirmed for the event in the Swiss Alps, which is due to take place between July 23-26.
After claiming the winning point at last year’s Ryder Cup, Donaldson has enjoyed a much quieter 2015, with his best performance being a tie for ninth in Abu Dhabi.
The 39-year-old admits he is looking forward to returning to Switzerland for what he says his one of his favourite tournaments of the year.
“Crans is a stunning venue, great tournament and the course is always challenging,” he said. “I really look forward to playing in the Swiss Alps in this brilliant event”.
