Rory Mcllory discovered his passion for golf at a tender age. Being the son of a fine golfer, Rory was introduced to the universe of golf at two years old. Rory’s dad took up small jobs while his mother worked extra night shifts. At the age of 7, he became the youngest member of the Holywood club. Rory Mcllory’s first victory was at the World Championship for the 9-10 age group. At the age of 16, Rory dropped out of school to follow his passion for gold. His first golf coach was none other than his father, followed by Michael Bannon, who is still his current coach. Rory published his love for golf with the following statement:
“Golf has been a huge part of my life since a very young age. My dad introduced me to the game when I was 2 years old and from that moment on, I was hooked. I still love the game now as much as I did when I first got my club in my hand. It’s a bug.”
