He earned his tour card for the 2019-20 PGA Tour season by finishing in 5th place in the regular season standings. As of November 2019, he finished in second place at the Bermuda Championship. Perhaps the biggest benefit to Higgs though, is that he’s from Texas, and therefore probably has some knowledge of the Colonial course. Higgs also ranks 14th for scrambling, meaning that the Charles Schwab Challenge could be his event to show out.
