In June, he held the 54-hold lead at Pebble Beach Golf Links, and then he became the fourth champion in U.S. Open history who was double-digits under-par. Hinako Shibuno

This smiling Japanese sensation won her first ever Major championship appearance at the Women’s British Open in 2019, at the tender age of 21. She managed to obtain a birdie on the 72^nd hole, which saw her beat out Lizette Salad by one. This marked the first time Shibuno had ever played golf outside of her home country. Perhaps her greatest achievement though, was beating out the 110-hole bogey-free record of Tiger Woods that dated back to the year 2000, by managing to go 114 holes without dropping a single shot.
