Voice Caddie has announced the release of the Swing Caddie SC200, a portable Doppler Radar-based launch monitor.
Providing instant feedback via both a backlit LCD display and voice output, the hand-held, SC200 measures ball and club data in the form of carry distance, swing speed, ball speed and smash factor.
Following on from the success of Voice Caddie’s original VC line of voice guided GPS rangefinders, the SC200 also features voice output functionality which tells you how far the ball has carried after every shot.
The SC200 can be used in one of three different modes: Practice, Target or Random Mode. This ensures that time spent on the range is both varied and efficient, with a unique scoring system used to monitor carry distance accuracy and consistency.
The ability to track daily and overall statistics for each club enables distance control to be fine tuned, while distance adjusted measurements are provided based on the barometric pressure of the practice environment.
With the option to input exact club loft angles, the SC200 can be fine tuned to match your exact bag setup, providing accurate data for any shot type. The included wireless control unit enables all settings, including club selection, to be controlled remotely, while a shot count and time display feature allows practice session length and intensity to be monitored.
Weighing a little over 200 grams and measuring just 15cm x 7.5cm x 2.5cm, the SC200 provides a compact, versatile ‘personal’ launch monitor solution for those passionate about maximising the effectiveness of their practice, as well as those looking for a fitting tool to provide data for multiple club performance comparison.
Providing a user-friendly, value for money personal launch monitor solution, the SC200 is ideal for golfers who want accurate shot feedback to improve their distance control and accuracy.
The SC200 will be available mid-May and carry a recommended retail price of £249.
